FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

TRAININGS

We seek to develop and deliver structured training programs that will prepare individuals to serve as Certified Christian Fundraisers for churches and ministries.

is fundraising considered a ministry activity?

Fundraising, when viewed through a Biblical lens, is not about asking for money—it is about inviting people to participate in God’s work. (Please take time to read this article: Biblical Fundraising and Stewardship: Reclaiming a Missing Ministry in the Church (Why the Church Must Learn to Fund the Mission—God’s Way)

How long does each training program last?

A Certified Christian Fundraiser (CCFR) training usually runs for 12 weeks (or 3 months) using 12 Modules.

A Christian Fundraising Bootcamp would typically run for 10-12 hours (or at least a day and a half), depending on the needs of the church/organization.

Completion of our Online Training Programs depends on the trainee's pace.

Who facilitates or conducts the trainings?

Trainings are conducted by instructors who are certified by HGSI. These are practitioners who have spent years in the development world are dedicated Christians committed to the spread of the Gospel.

What is the cost of the trainings? Are group discounts available?

We will be announcing the cost for the CCFR Training. We will also work with our Christian Donor Network so we can offer this as scholarships for those pursuing this as their ministry for the Body of Christ. We will offer Group Discounts for this.

Following the Dorean Principle of ministry, our Christian Fundraising Bootcamp is FREE for our partner churches and mission organizations. Most of our Online Courses are FREE except for those included in our Certification Path towards becoming a CCFR.

Are the trainings offered onsite, online, or both?

The CCFR is usually done Onsite. The Christian Fundraising Bootcamp can be done hybrid or fully online.

MINISTRY FUNDRAISING ADVISORY

We also provide consultancy services to churches and ministries to help them design and implement effective fundraising campaigns.

Who are the advisors behind the fundraising services?

Our team of advisors will include our internal staff, members of our advisory board and partner consultants who share our passion to help the fundraising ministry for churches and mission groups.

What is the step-by-step process for receiving fundraising advisory support?

It all starts with a High Level Institutional Assessment (HSIA). From there, your group will decide to engage us in a Deep-Dive Institutional Assessment and Capacity Planning. After that, the team will submit a fundraising plan and campaign for implementation.

Do the advisory services cover both short-term projects (e.g., one-time construction) and long-term initiatives (e.g., ongoing missions support)?

It will depend on the agreed engagement. Typically, we prefer a one-time engagement as we want to build the capacity of the partner group to be able to plan and implement their own sustainable fundraising program.

CHRISTIAN STEWARDS NETWORK

Our partnership are not limited to the churches who will benefit from our training and consultancy services, but also extends to our network of friends who want support ministries that are compliant, where they are assured that their support is properly used to create an impact to the community.

Who are the members of the Christian Stewards network?

This would be corporations (those with Corporate Social Responsibility programs), businessmen and professionals, and retired individuals who want to support the expansion of the Kingdom.

Will we have direct communication with the CSN Members?

As a supported ministry organization, yes. In fact, you will be required to submit a regular impact report (we will guide you on how to do this). We provide the tools to make this happen and to ensure compliance.
